About Emergency Medical Specialists
Since 1984, Emergency Medical Specialists (EMS) in Colorado Springs has been committed to serving the Southern Colorado community by providing the best emergency medical care possible.
From the very beginning, our mission has been to provide high quality, data-driven, patient-centered emergency medical care to our community by recruiting the best Emergency Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners to work at our facilities in and around Colorado Springs, CO. We are proud to be an independent, democratic group that is locally owned and managed right here in Colorado Springs.
EMS has continued to grow substantially since its founding. Today we are comprised of more than 100 emergency medical professionals serving our community at numerous top medical facilities in the region, including University of Colorado Health Memorial Central Hospital – the busiest emergency department in Southern Colorado and the only Level One Trauma Center in Southern Colorado.
